	Yale 8800 Series Mortise Lock The new 8800 series mortise lock replaces the 8700 series. The 8800 is a Quick Reversible Latchbolt that allow the handing to be changed in seconds. Simply press the latchbolt retaining plate, pull out the latchbolt and rotate 180° to the desired handing position. The 8800 series uses the same cutout and trim as the 8700 series.
